Daystate has released a series of workshop guides designed to support dealers by enhancing their technical support capabilities. These guides offer step-by-step instructions, enabling gunsmiths with varying levels of experience in handling precharged pneumatic airguns to undertake maintenance and repair tasks on Daystate air rifles efficiently.
The initiative includes a detailed listing of required tools, O-ring sizes and is complemented by a collection of repair videos. These resources aim to bolster the written guidance and images provided, facilitating a comprehensive understanding of each maintenance and repair procedure.
Tony Belas from Daystate has stated that the project, which took two years to complete, has been operational since December. It provides a vast array of online guides for the repair and servicing of current Daystate models, and it’s also applicable for home servicing and repair by individuals possessing the necessary skills and aptitude.
The Daystate Workshop guides, which are freely accessible on the Daystate website, are compared to automotive manuals by Haynes in terms of their aim to offer in-depth instructional content. Supported by YouTube videos created in collaboration with the Sub12 Airgunners YouTube channel, this project is described as a unique endeavour within the airgun and firearm community, reflecting Daystate’s commitment to customer support. The guides are currently being expanded to cover older models, tracing back to the company’s inception.
Additionally, a similar project for BRK-Brocock rifles is underway, with completion expected by mid-summer. In the interim, the BRK YouTube channel offers videos on stripping and assembly repair for all current BRK models.
The workshop guide and the associated resources are available to all and can be accessed from the Daystate website.
