Hawke Optics, a renowned, Suffolk-based manufacturer of premium optical products, has announced a major expansion into the German market through a strategic partnership with Umarex, which will take effect from September 1, 2024.
Umarex, a leader in the production and distribution of firearms, self-defence products and outdoor gear, is set to become the exclusive distributor of Hawke Optics products in Germany.
This collaboration is set to boost Hawke Optics’ market presence in Germany by capitalizing on Umarex’s extensive distribution network. Umarex will handle the distribution of Hawke’s comprehensive range of optical products, which includes the latest in riflescopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, red dot sights and laser rangefinders, all from its well-established logistics center.
The deal ensures that German customers will maintain access to Hawke’s acclaimed product lines, such as the Frontier, Sidewinder, Endurance, Vantage, and Airmax series. The Sidewinder series, in particular, is noted for its new H5 optics that offer an ultra-wide-angle field of view and enhanced sharpness, catering to the needs of both competitive shooters and hunting aficionados in demanding environments.
Umarex will also manage all warranty and service requests for Hawke products across Germany, simplifying the customer service experience. Retailers interested in carrying Hawke products can contact Umarex’s internal sales department to become authorized dealers and gain access to the entire product range.
This strategic initiative between Hawke Optics and Umarex aims to fortify both companies’ standings in the global arms and optics markets, ensuring high standards of product quality and customer service. Attempts to obtain a comment from Hawke Optics about the deal were unsuccessful; however, we will bring you the company’s thoughts in next month’s issue.
