London-based gunmaker Holland & Holland has appointed John Henderson as its new general manager, effective from early 2025. Henderson brings nearly three decades of industry experience to the role, most recently serving as managing director at Pure Fishing, where he achieved notable results in the sporting goods sector.
Henderson began his career at Hardy, a Royal Warrant holder and subsidiary of Pure Fishing, where he gained hands-on experience in precision craftsmanship. Over the years, he has held various positions at Pure Fishing, including quality manager, brand business manager, and commercial director, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of both operational and strategic leadership.
An enthusiastic shooter, Henderson expressed his enthusiasm about joining Holland & Holland, stating, “A company with such respect and prestige is built on a foundation of dedicated and skilled people. I am honoured to be joining this team and look forward to supporting them in driving this distinguished brand forward.”
