The Reximex Lyra PCP airgun, distributed by Range Right in Yorkshire, has undergone a carbine-style update with the release of the Reximex Lyra K model. This more compact version of the original Lyra has been designed to meet the needs of UK airgun shooters, offering a lighter and more manoeuvrable option while retaining the features that made its predecessor popular.
Measuring 88cm in length, the Reximex Lyra K is competitively priced at £425. This buddy-bottle pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) airgun features a fully shrouded 38cm barrel, complete with a half-inch UNF thread for attaching a silencer, making it suitable for both range use and pest control.
Housed in a Turkish walnut stock with contemporary lines, the Lyra K includes a rubber butt pad for comfort. The airgun uses a magazine-fed loading system, operated by a biathlon-style sidelever. It comes pre-fitted with a stud for bipod attachment, while a Picatinny-style rail allows for mounting additional accessories.
Available in .177 and .22 calibres, the Reximex Lyra K produces power just below the UK legal limit of 12 ft/lb, typically reaching 11.3 ft/lb. It offers approximately 80 shots per fill and delivers consistent performance across each shot. Additional features include a power adjuster and a four-way adjustable trigger, catering to various shooting scenarios from target shooting to field pest control.
Jake Peters, Range Right’s sales director, commented: “The Reximex Lyra quickly gained popularity due to its elegant styling and reliable performance. We received considerable demand for a shorter version, and in collaboration with Reximex, we’ve delivered the Lyra K, which has already received positive feedback from early users.”
The Reximex Lyra K combines style, performance, and value, positioning it as a strong option for UK airgun retailers seeking a compact and capable PCP airgun.
