With its eye-catching,brushed nickel metalwork, the Alpha Wolf Silver joins the rest of the pack of Alpha and Delta Wolf models in 2024.
Daystate’s flagship Alpha Wolf rifle is designed to excite and challenge shooters to achieve world-class results, whether on the range or in the field. While the perfect airgun may never be attainable, Daystate remains committed to striving for perfection. To maximise its flexibility, the Alpha Wolf is now available in numerous formats and styles, and for 2024, it is introduced in a new silver version.
British-based Daystate’s investment in computerised airguns ensures that its rolling development programme can seamlessly incorporate today’s latest performance enhancements as well as those of the future. The Alpha Wolf Silver embodies this commitment within a stylish, sporting package that appeals to both club and target-oriented shooters.
Complementing its Delta Wolf bullpup sibling, the Alpha Wolf’s individuality is immediately apparent, courtesy of a beautifully sculpted, red laminate skeleton stock with an extended forend lip and a new-look Picatinny optic rail. This rail, still movable fore-and-aft to accommodate any day and night-vision scope configuration is fitted with an anti-cant bubble.
The Alpha Wolf Silver maintains the high-end features initially introduced with the Alpha/Delta Wolf series of rifles: an on-board chronograph, quick-and-easy barrel changes, touch-screen programming, and Windows platform synchronisation via an optional plug-in dongle. It also features electronic air regulation, a double-magazine system, A.R.T barrel, adjustable cheek and butt pad, fully adjustable trigger and blade, carbon-fibre bottle, air regulator, and multiple accessory rails. Additionally, it has been designed to accept a host of third-party upgrades.
Tony Belas of Daystate expressed his enthusiasm for what the Alpha Wolf Silver and the entire range can offer to retailers. He told Gun Trade Insider: “The Daystate Alpha Wolf is a statement to shooters and the industry that Daystate remains the most technologically advanced a gun company; no other air rifle or indeed firearm, contains a built-in chronograph that can self-regulate, a colour touchscreen that allows instant and easy programming, not to mention calibre changes in under five minutes, including reprogramming.
Now the Alpha Wolf not only performs like a star but has the bling factor of one as well. The Alpha Wolf silver most definitely stands out from the crowd at many levels.”
Available in sub-12ft/lbs in .177 and .22 calibres, and in .177, .22, .25, and .30 in high-power models up to 115 ft/lbs, the Alpha Wolf Silver hit the market back in February. The .177 and .22 rifles feature a 430mm barrel and offer both 12 ft/lbs and high-power variants at 20 ft/lbs and 45 ft/lbs respectively (27 and 61 joules). The high-power model forms the basis for .22, .25, and .30 calibres rifles with barrels of 600mm and, for the first time, a 711mm barrel suitable for slug projectiles.
