With record attendance and a diverse array of exhibitors, the 2024 British Shooting Show solidified its status as a premier gathering for industry leaders, retailers and enthusiasts. The 2024 event offered unmatched opportunities for networking and showcasing products. As we look ahead, the continued success of the British Shooting Show promises even more opportunities for the UK trade.
A Landmark Year for the British Shooting Show
The 2024 edition marked a significant achievement for the British Shooting Show as it kicked off its 17th year with a record-breaking number of exhibitors. The show’s growing influence in the industry is undeniable, attracting senior staff and drawing international attention, with last year’s visitors flooding in through the airport on the bustling Friday and Saturday. This international influx reflects the show’s status as a pivotal gathering for the gun trade.
John Allison, managing director, British Shooting Show, commented: “As the UK’s largest event of its kind, the British Shooting Show is a global standout, comparable only to major events in Germany or the United States.”
Global Participation at the NEC
The National Exhibition Centre (NEC) hosted manufacturers from all over the world, enhancing the scope of the event. This year’s surge in exhibitor numbers is a direct reflection of the heightened interest from retailers who are eager to increase their presence, ensuring the show meets the varied needs of shooters and embodies the attitude of “shop till you drop.”
Record Highs in Attendance and Engagement
In addition to booming exhibitor numbers, ticket sales for the show soared to an all-time high, and its social media presence continues to expand.
Financial Accessibility and Exhibitor Support
Dispelling any myths about the cost of participation, the financial feasibility of exhibiting at the NEC is more accessible than ever. Recognising the financial commitment required, the show offers an interest-free payment plan that allows exhibitors to spread the cost over the year, rather than facing a lump sum. Additionally, exhibitors benefit from access to the show’s dedicated shooting database for targeted pre and post-show marketing, provided at no additional cost.
Exclusive Benefits for Early Birds
The British Shooting Show also incentivizes early ticket purchases. Attendees who buy their tickets online can enjoy lower prices, a free show guide and complimentary parking.
An Invitation to Celebrate Shooting Sports
The British Shooting Show team extends a warm invitation to all shooting sports enthusiasts to join its grand celebration of the UK shooting and hunting sector.
Don’t miss out on this unparalleled assembly of industry leaders, enthusiasts and retailers, coming together to share their passion and expertise.
