The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF®) has fully endorsed a Senate Joint Resolution led by US Senators John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.), aimed at blocking the Biden administration’s ‘Engaged in the Business’ Final Rule. This rule mandates private firearm sellers to obtain federal licenses and conduct background checks, effectively instituting universal background checks—a measure repeatedly rejected by Congress.
